Welcome to Seymour Swimming!

We are in part funded by the Seymour Park and Recreation Department in addition to a fee structure according to ability level and practice time.  We are a competitive swimming program in training for older groups such as the middle school and high school teams.

We have 3 ability levels for you team.  The beginning instructional level is the minnows.  This group will learn to do the four strokes correctly for competition swimming.  Competition is very limited at this level.

The intermediate group is the dolphins.  This group is basically refining the mechanics of the strokes.  Competition is encouraged for this group.

The advanced group is the sharks.  This group is required to compete.  They are fine-tuning the strokes and working to achieve state and national time cuts.

The head coach for Seymour Swimming is Dave Boggs.  Coach Boggs has coached champions at the state and national levels, as well as an Olympian.  Robb Reynolds and Kris Simons are the assistant coaches for Seymour Swimming.
